HUNTER HEALTH INSURANCE By CDH BENEFITS FUND Hunter Health Insurance Notice to Members regarding Covid-19 HHI takes the health of its members, employees and the wider community seriously and is doing its part to ensure we all remain safe during this uncertain time In the interests of protecting our staff and members, the office of HHI will be closed for face-to-face service until we receive advice that it is socially responsible to reopen this part of our business. Please call us on 02 4990 1385 to arrange other means of processing enquiries, claims and payments. We have also introduced a range of support packages for our members including We will defer for at least 3 months the premium rate increase that was due on 1" April 2020. The situation will be reviewed again as we approach 1" July 2020 and the rate increase may be deferred again For those existing members whose financial circumstances have changed in some way as a result of the impact of COVID-19 we have introduced access to special financial hardship arrangements. For those existing members with Hospital cover be assured that by applying for any form of hardship relief, and at whatever level of cover you may have, those person on your membership will be able to access cover for treatment related to COVID-19. Existing members applying for financial hardship suspension due to unforeseen circumstances or unexpected events, for example: o Unexpected change in financial circumstance. o Changes in employments status. o Significant event. Members will need to provide evidence that you are applying for or receiving the Federal Government financial assistance, or a letter from current/recent employer as to changed employment status or declaration as to special requirements It has been working with industry to provide innovative approaches to ensure there is value for members during the COVID-19 pandemic like telehealth consultations for a number of general treatment services.
