All applicants must contact Council's Recreation and Community Facilities Liaison Officer, Kate Hicks on 4993 4234 prior to lodging an application. 4993 4239 prior to lodging an application. Cessnock City Council may provide financial support of up to 50% in the form of a Rates Subsidy to not-for-profit community organisations to support the provision of a range of activities or services. In accordance with Council's Rates Subsidy Policy, to be eligible for a Rates Subsidy you must meet the principles and complete Council's Rate Subsidy application with all supporting documentation prior to 31 March 2021 All applicants must contact Council's Team Leader Revenue on 4993 4150 prior to lodging an application. Cessnock City Council has $11.000 available environmental groups. All applicants must contact Council's Sustainability Officer. Groups are invited to apply for funds through these grant schemes. Grants up to $500 will be provided through the Schools Environment Grant Scheme. Council will assess applications in line with a preset selection criteria. It is preferred that all projects are completed within a 12 month period.
